Paul Hanson, President of Sanford Health of Northern Minnesota, has received the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Senior Level Healthcare Executive Regent’s Award.
The Senior Level Healthcare Executive Regent’s Award recognizes ACHE affiliates who are experienced in the field and have made significant contributions to the advancement of healthcare management excellence and the achievement of ACHE’s goals.
Affiliates are evaluated on leadership ability; innovative and creative management; executive capability in developing their own organization and promoting its growth and stature in the community; contributions to the development of others in the healthcare profession; leadership in local, state or provincial hospital and health association activities; participation in civic/community activities and projects; participation in ACHE activities; and interest in assisting ACHE in achieving its objectives.
Hanson received his bachelor’s degree from Concordia College, Moorhead, MN, and his master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Colorado. He is certified as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Prior to joining the Bemidji based region of Sanford Health in 2009, he served as the President and CEO of Prairie Lakes Healthcare System in Watertown, SD, and the President and CEO of at Glendive Medical Center in Glendive, Montana.
