May, 09-2012   -  New Board Chair for Sanford Health of Northern Minnesota
At the April Sanford Health of Northern Minnesota (SHNM) Board of Director meeting Board members welcomed a new Chair. Chair Tom Hruby handed over the gavel to Incoming Chair Rod Will, MD.  Will has been a member on the board since March 2008.  He has served on the Finance and Facilities Committee, Performance Improvement Committee, Governance Committee and the Executive Committee.  He is also an internal medicine physician at Sanford Bemidji.  Dr. Will will hold the chair position through early November 2013.
 
Sanford Health of Northern Minnesota has been fortunate to have had the dedication of Tom Hruby as Board Chair since November 2011.  Hruby is stepping down from the Board, after serving 4 years, to serve as a member of the Sanford Health Board of Trustees. Hruby is a financial advisor and co-owner of Hruby-Wilde Financial Group in Bemidji.   In his new role he will provide direction and authority for key decision making at local and regional levels across the Sanford Health footprint.
