SEMINARS & EVENTS
The Sanford Health Foundation of Northern Minnesota hosts a variety of free seminars throughout the year focusing on health and wellness or planned giving. Unless stated otherwise, the seminars take place in the hospital's Education Center (east lobby) and run from 12 to 1 p.m. A light lunch catered by Sanford Bemidji Dining is included. Guests are required to register prior to the seminar by calling (218) 333-5505, e-mailing foundation-BEM@sanfordhealth.org, or register online through our Calendar of Events.

Most seminars are from 12 – 1 p.m. at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center's Education Center. A light lunch will be catered by Sanford Bemidji Dining.

April 3: "Investing 101" presented by Eileen Bretschneider

April 16: "Slips, Trips, and Broken Hips" 

May 15: "Skin Cancer" presented by Deb Steinbar

June 27: "Glaucoma" with Drs. Dwyer and Molde (at 5 p.m.)

July: "Lyme's Disease"

August 24: "Estate Planning with Life Insurance" by Dave Moffett

September: "Acid Reflux" 

October 2: "Over-the-Counter Do's and Don'ts" presented by Gretchen Bonik of the clinic pharmacy

November 13: "Record Keeping - What to keep and what to toss" by Dane Jones of Krigbaum & Jones

December: "Stress and Holidays" with Dr. Pamela Samson
